Miscellaneous goodies

For those of you that don’t already know, I’m a huge Harry Potter fan. It will come up again on this blog…because I really love Harry Potter. My delightful husband (Gryffindor) gives me some grief about this, but also indulges my obsession with great gifts like a calendar with the art of Mary Grandpre (the artist from the original Harry Potter covers and chapter illustrations) and lightning bolt earrings.

Nantucket Levenger lapreader for serious reading. I don’t mess around when I need a stable but mobile surface for highlighting and annotating, clearly. Also useful for the laptop while blogging.

And take a closer look at the earlier picture: a moleskin booklight! My mom bought me a few things I mentioned on my bookworm gifts posts, including the booklight and these hilariously delightful scents. I was particularly thrilled because that means she actually reads the blog. Hi, Mom!

I was literarily spoiled this Christmas. Now everyone else take a minute to delight again over your favorite holiday gifts or finds. What books or bookish items did you pick up over the holidays?
